*Overview* We have upcoming work in the town of Miramichi we will be requiring apprentices for. As a union apprentice you will be able to work for any unionized contractors, complete with all of the benefits the union provides. We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our union. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the electrical field. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience and learning essential skills in electrical installations, maintenance, and repair. The role involves working with various tools and equipment while adhering to safety standards and regulations. *Responsibilities* * Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. * Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. * Support the team in building low voltage systems as needed. * Follow instructions from lead electricians to ensure quality workmanship. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Participate in safety training sessions and adhere to all safety protocols on job sites. *Requirements* * Basic understanding of electrical principles and concepts. * Achieved at least block 1 in the Construction Electrician Trade * Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is a plus. * Experience with hand tools and power tools is required. * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
