We are currently recruiting for a Casual Cleaner to work on average approximately 15 hours per week on school days from 4:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. and weekends. *Cleaner Position Overview: * Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, the Cleaner will be responsible for general cleaning of designated classrooms, offices, washrooms, change rooms, hallways, and other rooms. The ideal candidate will have some relevant experience in related areas and have the ability to use cleaning equipment according to standard routines & practices. Should also be able to lift up to 25 lbs. *Responsibilities:* * Dusting, sweeping * Garbage removal * vacuuming and mopping * Cleaning desks and chairs *Qualifications:* The successful candidate should have: * Experience Cleaning * Understanding of WHMIS and Health and Safety * Ability to lift up to 25 lbs * Customer Service when supporting external events and campus functions * Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening Salary: $21.88 per hour after 3-month probation Please indicate your interest by submitting a resume and cover letter by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024.
