*Job Title:* Journeyperson Electrician *Location: *Kamloops, BC *Overview* Kuby Renewable Energy Ltd is an *Edmonton*-based solar PV contracting company, with offices in Kamloops, BC, Calgary and Lethbridge, AB. Kuby Energy services Western and Northern Canada, providing full-service residential and commercial solar power and energy storage solutions. In this rapidly growing industry, Kuby is looking for someone with a strong desire to grow with us as a company and facilitate clean energy solutions across Canada. *Position Summary* The *Journeyperson Electrician* plays a vital role in supporting the electrical team by overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar systems. Guidance of apprentice electricians, the Journeyperson will train and aid others to apply their gained experience to contribute to the successful completion of projects. *Duties and Responsibilities* · Interpret engineered drawings · Installing solar panels (mounting & connecting solar panels) · Running wiring from solar panels to inverters to electrical panels. · Conducting tests to ensure solar panels are functioning correctly. · Critical thinking and problem solving. · Maintaining company tools and equipment. · Completing Field-level hazard assessments. · Residential upgrades and sub panel installation. · Maintaining proper housekeeping, particularly in a customer?s home. · Customer service skills · Ability to work out of town on an as-needed basis. · Comfortable working in confined spaces · Other duties as required *Qualifications* · High school diploma · Strong understanding of Electrical codes. · Journeyperson Electrical ticket. · Fall Protection · Ability to lift 50 Lbs. · Class 5 driver's license · Ability to interpret drawing, single line diagrams and spec sheets. *Benefits* · Competitive salary and performance-based incentives. · Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans. · Opportunity for career advancement. · Company Events. _*At Kuby Renewable Energy Ltd., we are dedicated to a workplace that values diversity in all forms.
