*Job Summary:*
Melnik is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will focus on driving sales of our manufacturing products and solutions by leveraging your technical expertise to address customer needs. You?ll work closely with clients to provide tailored recommendations, build strong relationships, and ensure the seamless implementation of our manufacturing solutions. A solid technical foundation in the fabrication industry, strong communication skills, and a commitment to outstanding client service are essential for this role. You must be self-motivated and able to work independently to succeed.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Client Engagement:*
* Establish and nurture relationships with manufacturers, integrators, and key stakeholders.
* Assess client needs related to both custom and standard solutions and recommend suitable products.
* Conduct site visits, product demonstrations and installations to showcase the value and functionality of our solutions.
*Sales Strategy and Execution:*
* Identify new business opportunities within our target market
* Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and drive revenue growth.
*Technical Expertise:*
* Develop a thorough understanding of the company?s products and our capacity to manufacture
* Address technical inquiries from clients, providing detailed explanations and troubleshooting support.
* Collaborate with design and fabrication teams to customize solutions.
* Leverage ERP software to create accurate pricing estimates.
*Administrative and Reporting Tasks:*
* Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client communications, and project milestones using CRM and ERP tools.
* Prepare accurate forecasts and reports on sales performance and pipeline progress with support of the sales team.
*Qualifications and Skills:*
* Proven experience in technical sales, particularly within the manufacturing sector.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and industry-specific challenges.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
* Proficiency with CRM and ERP software.
