*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice for every other Tuesday. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills, making it essential for the candidate to be both compassionate and detail-oriented. *Responsibilities* * Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. * Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed using sensors. * Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment options. * Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimize office efficiency. * Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area in compliance with safety regulations. * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience. * Support administrative tasks such as billing and insurance verification when necessary. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with familiarity in areas such as Pediatrics or general dentistry * Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix. * Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
