Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Tasks: Administer evaluative tests. Assist health care professionals. Assist physicians in the assessment of patients. Develop information materials for patients. Examine the patient. Follow through on treatment programs with patients. Help medical examiner in charge. Help orthopedic surgeons. Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products. Make decisions on tests and procedures. Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine. Set up and dismantle equipment. Supervise technical and support staff. Administer evaluative tests and procedures. Clean and maintain equipment. Hire and train staff. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Record information about donors. Record vital signs. Clean and dress wounds. Plan physiotherapy programs. Maintain inventory of equipment. Perform general clerical duties. Process files and paperwork. Schedule and confirm appointments. Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients. Order supplies and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
