This includes business planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and negotiations. The Director of Finance will ensure the company's financial health and growth by managing its financial strategy, controlling financial risks, and ensuring compliance with regulations.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Reports to:</strong></p><p>CEO</p><p> </p><p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities:</strong></p><p> </p><p>Strategic Financial Leadership</p><ul><li>Develop and execute the financial strategy of the company in alignment with business objectives.</li><li>Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive management team on financial matters.</li><li>Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic initiatives.</li><li>Responsible for implementing, monitoring, analyzing and reporting on organizational KPI's, both financial and operational, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve targeted performance outcomes</li></ul><p>Financial Planning & Analysis</p><ul><li>Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.</li><li>Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.</li><li>Develop and implement robust financial planning and analysis processes and organizational and financial KPI's.</li></ul><p>Budgeting & Forecasting</p><ul><li>Lead the annual budgeting process, including the development of department budgets and capital expenditure plans.</li><li>Monitor and report on budget performance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.</li><li>Conduct regular financial forecasting to anticipate future financial performance and requirements.</li></ul><p>Risk Management & Compliance</p><ul><li>Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including GAAP/IFRS.</li><li>Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.</li><li>Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit, market, operational, and compliance risks.</li></ul><p>Operational Financial Management</p><ul><li>Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.</li><li>Manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.</li><li>Optimize working capital and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.</li></ul><p>Team Leadership & Development</p><ul><li>Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.</li><li>Set performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance appraisals.</li><li>Ensure the finance team has the necessary resources and training to perform effectively.</li></ul><p>Stakeholder Engagement</p><ul><li>Act as the primary financial spokesperson for the organization, presenting financial results and strategies to the board of directors, investors, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Collaborate with ot
