Full-Time *Billing Clerk* Monday to Friday ? 8:30am ? 5:00pm, overtime as necessary *About Us:* Clark Freightways is a leading BC-based freight carrier, privately owned and operated since 1957. We are looking for an organized and enthusiastic Billing Clerk to join our Manifest Department. *What You?ll Do:* * Process Inter Terminal Manifests. * Transfer information from waybills, electronic trailer assignments, and dispatch trips between agents in the Transportation Management System (TMS). * Audit and verify driver paperwork, including loading copies for the dock. * Prepare delivery paperwork. * Answer and enter pick-up calls from Customers. * Manifest and dispatch central billing shipments based on the provided line ups. * Keys manual Proof of Delivery?s (POD) for shipments delivered on the original BOL. * Support missing image searches. *Who You Are:* * High School graduate with courses in Business Administration or a related field, and one (1) years? experience in an office environment; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. * Freight industry experience and experience with a Transportation Management System (TMS) preferred. * Solid knowledge of the geography of British Columbia. * Intermediate level use of Microsoft Office Suite of programs. * Advanced level typing speed and accuracy. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team; collaborating with others to achieve goals and objectives. * Exceptional interpersonal and customer relations skills; drive to exceed customer expectations. * Positive attitude that communicates job related issues with a constructive, problem-solving approach. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * Highly organized with a proven ability to effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines. * Ability to work independently, accurately and problem solve; in a fast-paced dynamic environment. * Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as required. *Why Apply?* * Rate starting at $22.29 * Extended health benefits * Employer matched RRSP * Opportunity to work with a leading freight organization, proudly serving BC. * Work within a state-of-the-art cross-docking facility. * Potential advancement and promotions based on performance and company need.
