*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by assisting with meal preparation and ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the food industry and develop their skills in food handling and safety. *Duties* * Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as directed by the cook or chef. * Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. * Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled properly and safely. * Support the kitchen staff during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating dishes. * Keep work areas clean and sanitized to meet health regulations. * Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. * Participate in training sessions related to food preparation and safety protocols. *Skills* * Experience or interest in meal preparation within a kitchen environment. * Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant setting. * Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others. * Basic cooking skills are a plus but not required; training will be provided. * Excellent communication skills to interact with team members effectively. * A positive attitude and eagerness to learn about the food service industry.
