*Company intro:* Northern Powertrain is the leading supplier of truck mounted equipment, industrial hydraulics and driveline Solutions to the Northern Ontario marketplace. We also have a complete service and repair shop and are a licensed MTO inspection centre. *Job description:* We?re looking for a full-time experienced heavy-duty mechanic. The ideal candidate is someone who has worked in the industry for several years and is comfortable diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Demonstrated knowledge and experience working on hydraulics, axle assemblies, final drive and accessory equipment (booms, liftgates, dump bodies, snow control systems) and electronics required. Welding and basic fabrication ability is a strong bonus.
