*JOB DESCRIPTION* Pioneer Construction is looking for hard-working, self-motivated employees with a proven record of safety and reliability to fill the position of Construction Labourer in the Dubreuilville, Ontario area. The Construction Labourer will require a high level of motivation, professionalism, and independence. This is a full-time seasonal position available with competitive wages and a benefits package. *JOB DUTIES:* * Load, unload and transport construction materials. * Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. * Mix, pour and spread materials. * Pave and rake asphalt. * Assist equipment operators, and other skilled labour when necessary. * Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards. * Operate and care for construction equipment and machines. * Load or unload construction materials. * Assist pipe layers. * Perform site clean-up. * Work schedule consists of 7 days on and 7 days off. Day shifts and night shifts as required. * Work in various weather conditions. * Display professionalism toward our company and customers. * Must maintain a clean and tidy work environment and equipment. * Work in accordance with all internal, client and regulated health and safety policies, procedures and/or regulations, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Perform related duties as assigned. *JOB QUALIFICATIONS:* *Education:* * High school diploma is considered an asset. * Valid G Class Driver?s License. * Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset. *Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* * Ability to use tools and equipment required to perform the work (e.g. hand and power tools, etc.) * Ability to do physical labour and other strenuous physical tasks * Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions * Willing to travel to job sites with overnight stays when required * Verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. * Successfully passed comprehensive pre-employment third party testing requirements (drug and alcohol testing and a Criminal Background Check (CPIC) and any other requirements they impose on contractors). * Ability to adapt to last-minute changes as dictated by the needs of our customers. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. * Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. *Perks & Benefits:* * Extended health benefits, dental, vision and life insurance * Employee & Family Assistance Program * Company Events * Company Pension * Competitive Wages * Ongoing training and career development *To Apply * All applications must be submitted to careers@pioneerconstruction.ca.
