*General Accountability* The Line Worker position is responsible for fully, safely, and effectively participating in the production team to meet daily production targets on the packaging production line. *Specific Responsibilities* * Package shavings into the required bags as per the specifications and the production quotas keeping up with the automated production line. * Troubleshoot any problems on the line. * Prep the shavings for the production line as needed. * Health and Safety ? follow all required health and safety procedures, rules and practices. Advise supervision of health and safety concerns and report hazards and/or incidents immediately. * Housekeeping ? practise good housekeeping at all times. Perform housekeeping duties as required during downtimes or as requested by supervision including sweeping, tidying, repalletizing, storing, etc. *Working Conditions* * Fast-paced production environment * Repetitive work * Exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes and odours * Standing for long periods; * Regular manual lifting up to 60 lbs. *Qualifications* * Previous packaging experience in a manufacturing facility * Ability to lift up to 55lbs on a regular basis required * Good command of written and spoken English language We value diversity and are an equal-opportunity employer.
