Scholars of Newmarket is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Full-Time Education Director to join our esteemed team. As a successful Scholars Education Director, your primary responsibility will be to support the Centre Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the Centre. This includes overseeing financial management, curriculum development and implementation, scheduling, teacher training, assessment administration, and parent conferences. Candidates must possess a strong passion for fostering student academic growth and success. An ideal candidate for this position will hold a post-secondary education and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. Prior experience in education or sales, with a particular emphasis on customer service, is highly valued. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for building and maintaining positive relationships with clients. Effective problem-solving and multitasking skills are also crucial. The successful candidate will contribute to the Centre?s growth and success by effectively managing their responsibilities and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders. In addition to these responsibilities, the Education Director will be responsible for:
- Handling new inquiries, assessments, enrollments, and conferences with parents
- Collaborating with teachers, educational specialists, and other school administrators, parent/teacher organizations, case managers, and community contacts to achieve Centre goals - Monitoring daily business operations and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures
- Staff management, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating new staff members - Providing ongoing support to staff in maintaining professional standards and fostering a positive work environment
- Assisting in curriculum development and implementation, ensuring alignment with Scholars? educational philosophy and standards Scholars of Location values candidates who demonstrate a professional, enthusiastic, flexible, and collaborative demeanor.
- Develop and recommend goal-oriented programs, and monitor program progress accordingly.
- Foster a positive learning environment within the center for staff, students, and parents. - Oversee and schedule student programs effectively.
- Anticipate and respond promptly to the needs and expectations of clients, including parents, students, and case managers.
- Communicate accurate and comprehensive information to clients in a professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and accurate manner.
- Demonstrate accountability for comprehending, managing, and fulfilling client needs and expectations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
