_*Nextreme*_ is seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical work, including reading schematics and blueprints, and possess the ability to work on various projects ranging from renovations to industrial electrical systems. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude with a strong work ethic, get along well with others in a team environment, but also comfortable working independently and leading projects. *Duties:* - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings as well as Electrical permits in the Northwest Territories & British Columbia - Complete all electrical connection for the set up of Modular Homes throughout Western and Northern Canada - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams - Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and diagnostic tools - Renovate existing electrical systems to meet current codes and standards - Collaborate with other tradespeople to build and integrate electrical components into larger projects. - must be able to pull permits for residential and commercial in the NWT Candidates who successfully complete their 3 months? probation will also be eligible for the company?s health/dental benefits. *Wage is dependent upon experience, certifications and is competitive.* *Certifications Required* - Journeyperson Certificate or Red Seal *Skills:* The ideal candidate should have the following skills: - Proficiency in electrical work, including wiring, circuits, and systems - Experience as a maintenance person or industrial electrician is a plus - Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints accurately - Knowledge of logic controllers for automation systems - Competency in using hand tools for various electrical tasks - Familiarity with low-voltage systems for data communication - Successful candidate must be highly skilled in the trade, be able to work alone and or with others. - Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Should have experience with all aspects of residential and commercial plumbing as well as their own permitting depending on job requirements - Must have references - Must be in Canada *NEXTreme Inc. looks forward to your application.
