*Job Summary* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Contract Music Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will utilize music as a therapeutic tool to support the emotional, cognitive, and social needs of our clients. If you are interested in working with a wide range of clientele from seniors, adults with disabilities, kids with disabilities as well as mental health and are compassionate, reliable, self-motivated Harmonic Expressions may be a great fit. We work closely with all of our clients to provide individualized sessions for them. *Who We Are* Harmonic Expressions is a music therapy company based in Ontario, Canada serving the GTA since 2011. Our mission is to enrich the lives of those we serve through musical experiences that address their needs with dignity and respect. We provide individual and group Music Therapy, and Adaptive/Traditional Music Lesson *What we offer: * * We currently have a part time position of 3 days a week available with possibility to increase to full time if interested * Clinical Supervision as needed * We can provide on going training and development * Some instruments may be provided if needed * If there is interest in mental health work that may be provided depending on qualifications as the owner is a Registered Social Worker * Flexibility and the ability to work with clients to create a schedule that works for you and them *Role Description* * Contract position at multiple locations across the GTA * conducting in-person individual and group music therapy sessions * keeping up to date progress notes and care plans * Communicating with onsite staff and supervisors * Must be an independent practicing music therapist (own instruments/vehicle/liability insurance) * Hourly rate negotiated, based on experience, education, and credentials * Scheduling to be negotiated based on therapist/facility/client availability * *Requirements: * * Bachelor or Masters Music Therapy Degree * MTA/ MT-BC, or MTA/ MT-BC pending * CAMT Member in Good Standing * Proficiency in guitar/piano and voice * Expectation of adherence to the ethical standards outlined by the CAMT code of ethics, professional practice standards, and ongoing learning.
