*Responsibilities:* · Makes sure safety is the number one priority · Sets up sewing machines for daily use · Operates sewing machines · Immediately reports any machine issues during the shift · Understands the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the sewing machines · Immediately reports safety hazards associated with the sewing machines and around the factory · Suggests ways to improve sewing processes · Other duties as assigned *Requirements and Skills:* · Previous manufacturing experience as a sewer with *single needle* and *serger experience* · Should be comfortable being cross-trained and working on a production line · Understanding of sewing processes · Attention to detail · Willingness to work the afternoon shift (3:30pm to 12:00am) · Workdays are between Monday and Friday. May occasionally work on Saturdays · Willingness to help out in other areas of the factory if needed · ?Do it Right the First Time? mentality · Team player Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationToronto, ON
