Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Dental practice. Tasks: Conduct initial dental assessments. Consult with dentists on patient care. Take dental impressions. Instruct patients regarding oral hygiene. Clean and stimulate the gums to prevent gum disease. Apply fluoride treatment. Remove stains and deposits from teeth. Take, develop and mount X-rays. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Fast-paced environment. Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Attention to detail. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Are you willing to relocate for this position?. Experience: Experience an asset. Health benefits: Dental plan.
