Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Construction. Inspection. Residential. Service. Various locations. Tasks: Prepare production and other reports. Supervise workers and projects. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Train or arrange for training. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Recommend personnel actions. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Schedule work assignments. Monitor safety conditions. Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards. Examine plans, drawings and site layouts. Complete detailed inspection documentation. Co-ordinate work activities with other departments. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met. Supervision: Tilesetters. 16-20 people. Painters and decorators. Floor covering installers. Working groups. Staff in various areas of responsibility. Lathers. Drywall installers and finishers. Shinglers. Waterworks maintenance workers. Gas maintenance workers. Eavestrough installers. Electrical appliances installers. Kitchen cupboard and vanity installers. Muffler installers. Septic systems installers. Window installers. Apprentices. Labourers. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Personal suitability: Organized. Reliability. Team player.
