*Position Overview*
Amada, a global leader in the machine tool business, is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative and offers a competitive compensation package wtih benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for his/her personal time management and all activities within the Logistics, Parts and Tooling Order Desk. This includes customer support and satisfaction, quotes and orders for customers and service and processing returns.
*Duties and Responsibilities*
· Provide quality customer service and maintain customer satisfaction
· Respond to all inquiries received by phone, fax, mail and email; redirect questions to other departments when necessary
· Work with other departments to resolve order-related problems, facilitate solutions and enhance customer support and satisfaction
· Coordinate with Accounting regarding updates of customer records in the SAP system
· Maintain email contact information in VIA2 (internal system) for invoicing
· Create internal tickets for Tooling quotes and orders
· Determine availability and prices, and advise out-of-stock situations
· Arrange for shipping of tools and parts
· Conduct order follow-ups
· Resolve questions or discrepancies with customer inquiries, referring to supervisor as necessary
· Process quotes created by technicians from the KM system (internal system)
· Contact the customers and collect all required information to send official quote
· Process returns for technician and customer orders
· Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
*Qualifications*
· Bilingual
· 1-2 years? experience as a Customer Service Representative
· Understanding of customer service principles and processes
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
· Experience with internet and online search tools
· Knowledge of order entry systems and related functionality for service parts
· High school diploma
*Other Skills or Assets*
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to multitask in high-volume and stressful situations
· Strong telephone etiquette
· Good planning and organizational skills, and ability to prioritize
· Strong administrative and computer skills
