Job details
Nasittuq provides Operation & Maintenance services for the North Warning System (NWS). The NWS is a joint Canada and United States early-warning radar system with 47 sites located in Northern Canada; a Control Centre and Support Centre located in North Bay, ON and a Contract Management Office located in Ottawa, ON. SCOPE: The Facilities Maintenance Technician - Electrician (FMT-E) has functional responsibility for monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting the serviceability of the facilities, the electrical distribution systems (along with their related equipment) at the NWS Short Range Radar (SRR) and Long Range Radar (LRR) sites. This includes providing diagnostic, problem solving and repair capabilities. This is a Unionized rotational position. The candidate must be comfortable working in- LocationInuvik, NT
