*Job Overview (Standard Boiler plate stuff but pretty accurate) * We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The Plumber will also be expected to adhere to building codes while providing exceptional service to our clients. *Responsibilities* (mostly new construction stuff) * Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. * Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues. * Utilize power tools and welding equipment for installation and repairs. * Conduct heavy lifting as necessary for moving materials and equipment. * Collaborate with carpenters and HVAC technicians to ensure integrated system functionality. * Provide accurate estimates for time and materials required for plumbing projects. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. *Qualifications* (all of these would be great but if you are new or weak in some of these areas we can work on them as a team) * Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role is preferred. * Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials. * Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. * Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. * Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively. * Experience with heavy lifting is essential for this role. * Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus but not required. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills with the ability to work well with clients and team members.
