*Your Role*
Reporting to Director, Information Technology, the Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications and integrations that enhance business operations, streamline workflows, and foster innovation. This role requires expertise in .NET programming (C# or VB.NET), with the ability to create efficient solutions that address critical business challenges and improve productivity.
*Your duties will include, but is not limited to:*
* Design, code, test, and debug custom applications to support business operations and improve efficiency.
* Develop and maintain APIs, SQL databases, and applications tailored to automate and streamline processes.
* Ensure existing software performance is optimized through updates and enhancements.
* Create and maintain AutoCAD blocks, templates, and production programs using the AutoCAD .NET API.
* Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, implementing fixes to ensure system reliability.
* Collaborate with production teams to ensure AutoCAD tools align with specific business needs and standards.
* Develop and support add-ins/applications for the Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, Outlook, and related tools.
* Provide expert-level technical support and insights to enhance user experience and application functionality.
*Your Skills*
*To be successful in this role, you will need:*
* Bachelor?s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Geomatics Engineering.
* 3+ years of experience in software development with proven track record of delivering complex software projects.
* Proficiency in .NET programming (C# or VB.NET), with additional experience in other programming languages considered an asset.
* Experience with AutoCAD, including building Blocks & Templates.
* Experience with web development frameworks, databases, and cloud services.
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform to effectively manage and develop integrated business solutions.
* Experience with Git & GitHub.
* Basic land surveying knowledge, including familiarity with the DLS (Dominion Land Survey) System.
* Strong Interpersonal and team working skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
