Carol Lake Metal Works is seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our maintenance team. In this key role, you will be responsible for the electrical maintenance of equipment and buildings, ensuring safety and operational efficiency on-site. You will work closely with the team to support day-to-day operations and contribute to the ongoing success of the business. *Key Responsibilities:* · Perform daily electrical maintenance tasks and support scheduled equipment repairs. · Assist with the repair and maintenance of machinery and mobile equipment. · Set up and tear down mobile equipment as needed. · Diagnose electrical malfunctions and take corrective and preventative actions. · Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety policies and procedures, using appropriate tools and equipment. · Maintain accurate and organized electrical documentation and manuals. · Monitor and report progress on projects and inventory levels. · Contribute to creating a safe and efficient work environment. · Be vigilant of surroundings and prioritize the safety of fellow employees. · Work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting, bending, and working in varied environments. · Perform other related duties as required. *Requirements:* · 5?7 years of experience as a licensed Industrial Electrician. · Strong mechanical aptitude. · Valid driver?s license. · Proven ability to work safely and comply with safety policies. · Experience with construction site protocols, rules, and codes of conduct. · Ability to use computers for data entry and retrieval. · Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers and supervisors. · Willingness to work long hours and travel with portable equipment. · Ability to perform strenuous tasks in varying weather conditions. *What We Offer:* · Competitive compensation. · Fly-in/fly-out schedule (3 weeks on, 2 weeks off). · A supportive work environment that prioritizes safety and quality. · Opportunities for career development and further training. *How to Apply:* Interested candidates should submit their resume, a cover letter detailing their experience and qualifications, and any relevant work samples or portfolio links to kcoffey@clmw.ca.
