We currently have a *part-time*, *or casual flexible schedule *opportunity for a *Physical Therapy Aide *to join our rehab team. Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans and assist patients in rehabilitation. *Responsibilities* * Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by physical therapists. * Help patients with exercises stretches and rehabilitation activities. * Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising therapist. * Educate patients on exercises and selfcare techniques. * Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe treatment environment. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in patient care, preferably within a hospital or acute care environment. * Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. * Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating empathy and patience towards patients. * Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and perform tasks that may require lifting or moving patients as needed. * Certification or training as a Physiotherapy Assistant is preferred but not mandatory. * Preference to Kinesiologists *For more detailed information, please call Edith Cavell Care Centre at 403-328-6631* Job Type: Part-time Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour Work Location: In person- LocationLethbridge, AB
