THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF <p>SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 33 (Chilliwack) <p> <p>Hiring for CASUAL Before and After School Care Assistant <p>The Chilliwack School District is looking for enthusiastic, qualified before and after School Care Assistant who would be required to be available Monday - Friday to replace employees who are absent for less than six months earning a wage of $28.15 per hour. <p>If you have a Highschool Diploma and you are a Responsible Adult/RA*, we encourage you to apply. <p> <p>*Please note that a "Responsible Adult/RA", in the childcare licensing regulation (the law) says: To qualify for employment in a community care facility as a responsible adult, a person must (a) be at least 19 years of age, (b) be able to provide care and mature guidance to children, (c) have completed a course, or a combination of courses, of at least 20 hours duration in child development, guidance, health and safety, or nutrition, and (d) have relevant work experience.<p>Interested applicants should submit a complete application package that includes:<p><p> a cover letter<p> a detailed resume outlining relevant post-secondary qualifications and work experience <p> the names and contact information of at least two individuals who have supervised your work with children, youth or adults<p> copies of relevant post-secondary degree and certificates<p> copies of written evaluations of your work with children youth or adults <p><p> <p> Please Note: This position occurs before and after school.
