Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Tasks: Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products. Transport items throughout plant using powered equipment. Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually . Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions. Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Load and unload vehicle. Read and interpret work orders. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Dolly. Lifting device. Security and safety: Bondable. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Own vehicle. Public transportation is not available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads.
