Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Prepare, sand and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts. Set up and operate finishing machines or finish furniture by hand. Stain or finish wood to specified colour. Apply toners, highlights, glazes or shaders to obtain desired finish. Apply lacquer or other sealers. Clean, polish and wax furniture. Make minor repairs to furniture. Type of materials: Wood. Equipment and machinery experience: Automated spray painting. Area of work experience: Finished products. Type of industry experience: Furniture upholstery and repair shop. Screening questions: Are you available for the advertised start date?.
