Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Sales. Assembly. Tasks: Prepare and submit reports. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Train or arrange for training. Recommend personnel actions. Set up machines and equipment. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise staff or team. Set up and operate automatic testing equipment to locate circuit and wiring faults, shorts and component defects. Print in 3D. Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment. Supervision: Electronics assemblers, fabricators, inspectors and testers. 5-10 people. Assemblers and inspectors, electrical appliance, apparatus and equipment manufacturing. Welding techniques: Laser. Specialized equipment and systems: Thermal infrared sensors. Equipment and machinery experience: Laser levelling/aligning. Equipment, eystems and controls experience: Electronic testing equipment and systems. Area of specialization: Optical alignment. Custom fabrication. Security and surveillance system. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours.
