*Job Summary* Victoria Periodontics, led by Dr. Grady O'Neill, is seeking a cheerful and dedicated CDA to join our existing highly experienced team. This is a great opportunity for a dental assistant who has or has not had previous experience in a surgical setting. We are expanding an existing team rather than replacing a team member. We look forward to meeting you! The position is available for immediate placement *Duties* * Assist Dr. O'Neill during periodontal procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterile. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care to promote optimal recovery. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols. * Communicate effectively with patients regarding post- operative care * Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and high-quality care. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in a dental or periodontal setting is preferred. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. * A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of periodontics.
