*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This position requires a strong commitment to patient education and preventive care, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with dentists and other staff members in a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Take 3D digital intra-oral scans using an iTero. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care. * Assist in identifying periodontal disease and other oral health issues. * Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the dental software system (Dentrix). * Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care. * Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and treatment areas. * Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience. *Skills* * Experience working in a *dental office* setting is essential. * Knowledge of *medical terminology* related to dentistry is preferred. * Familiarity with *Dentrix* or similar dental practice management software is advantageous. * Strong *customer service* skills to effectively communicate with patients and address their needs. * Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
