*Job Summary* · To ensure the proper functioning of all guestrooms and other facilities serving the comfort and safety of the guests. To handle and coordinate the renovation and refurbishment plan of the Hotel · Carries out basic plumbing, heating, cooling and electrical repairs, ground and landscaping, leisure facilities and assigned projects · Daily Maintenance of Pool & Hot tub and other mechanical. · Repair and maintenance on equipment and machinery · Carry out all repairs as per maintenance work requests received. · Keeping the working environment clean, free of debris and hazardous materials. · Garbage and recycle removal per schedule. · Recording of daily activities in maintenance log book. · Inform management with unusual and unsolved maintenance issues. · Immediate response to hotel emergency call (fire, water and electrical). · Some extended hours are required to respond to emergency situations. · Lifts heavy items (greater than 30 pounds) several times daily. · Majority of daily tasks are performed throughout the hotel. · Works with constant interruptions. Other duties as assigned *Qualifications* · Experience pertaining to HVAC, general maintenance, electrical and/or plumbing preferred. · Minimum of 2-3 years Hotel Maintenance Experience · Pool Management Experience - Pool certification a requirement. · Must have a Class 5 License. · Basic working knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, electrical system, leisure and building equipment?s operations. · Analytical skills to gather information to do tasks · To be able to effectively communicate with both guests and coworkers. · Communication, complete the work given and advise the director of any concerns. · Required to respond to tasks and adjust the schedules that change throughout the day. · To maintain a positive attitude at all times. · To provide every guest with exceptional service during their stay. · To participate in providing the best guest experience. Will be required to work / be available on weekends Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.45-$24.00 per hour Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Nisku, AB T9E 8E2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Experience: * Project management: 1 year (preferred) Language: * English (required) Work Location: In person
