Job Summary The Public Safety Officer (PSO) role is dedicated to supporting public safety concerns at YVR - 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The PSO is responsible for surveying the public areas for security and safety issues. These areas include the International Terminal Building (ITB), the Domestic Terminal Building (DTB), curbside areas of these terminals, plus Canada Line public areas and the parkade. In order to perform the task of maintaining a safe and smooth running daily operation at YVR, the PSO required to practice a calm and respectful manner and when necessary use negotiation skills to de-escalation conflicts with non physical intervention. Job Duties Conduct regular patrols of all public areas of the ITB- LocationRichmond, BC
