Looking for skilled construction workers that are tired of traveling to different sites all over Ontario. Enjoy working in our climate-controlled facility in a convenient location minutes from the 403. *Core Responsibilities* * Core Responsibilities * Read construction drawings and measure and install products according to their requirements. * Read and understand job specifications and build as laid out in them. * Ability to properly use required hand tools, power tools, hoists cranes, measuring devices and testing equipment. * Ensure that daily tasks are done in accordance with the BECC?s SOP?s. * Inspect and maintain the work area and tools machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift. * Attend and actively participate in training classes and safety sessions. * Repair and replace as necessary electrical systems and equipment by diagnosing malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors and lighting fixtures; determining faulty wiring, inspecting and testing malfunctioning machinery * Perform maintenance mechanical duties as required. * Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment * Install, replace and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels * Splice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits * Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement or repair * Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance record. * Responsible to ensure housekeeping is throughout the task you are preforming *Other Responsibilities* * support quality team with testing and code requirements * Provide assistance to design and estimating. *Knowledge, Skills and Experience* * 3 - 5 years of experience in commercial and institutional electrical installation * Experience with power tools. * A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach. * Ability to lift up to 20Kg * Ability to read and interpreter schematics, electrical drawing, and instruction * Ability to read and interpreter Drawings, and details from shop drawings * Ability to drive change and initiate system improvements * An effective team player with strong problem-solving skills * Ability to conduct testing of electrical components and wiring systems * Ability to work at heights, using step ladder, scissor lift, telescopic boom, etc *Education* A current Ontario Electrical Certificate(309A) Working Conditions * Construction work in a manufacturing facility * Job Type: Full-time, Permanent * Comprehensive Benefit Package * Salary: $30.00- $35.00 per hour Being Part of BECC Modular Great team dynamic and tight knit company culture.
