CUSTODIAN One (1) Permanent Part Time Position Monday to Friday ? 4 hours/day Calling Lake, Alberta The Bigstone Health Commission in Calling Lake, Alberta is seeking an experienced Custodian to join our talented team. Duties and Responsibilities: ? General Janitorial and Maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, window cleaning, sanitizing floors, washrooms, etc. ? Collect and dispose of trash from the buildings ? Sanitize surfaces: doorknobs/handles, handrails, countertops, tables, chairs, phones, other common items ? Reports observations regarding malfunctions, defects, repair and maintenance and unsafe conditions of the building, fixtures, and equipment ? Perform seasonal cleaning ? Ensuring the office building is secure prior to leaving the building Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: ? Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods of time, etc. ? Ability to follow proper cleaning and sanitation instruction on all cleaning and equipment supplies ? Ability to follow instructions concerning various chemicals ? Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation procedures Education and Experience: ? High School Diploma is an asset ? Experience in a Custodial/Janitorial role considered an asset ? Reliable transportation ?
