We are seeking a dedicated individual who will take pride in their work and support our mission in the role of carpenter.
Successful applicants will join our construction team and will contribute to new construction, renovations, and the repair and maintenance of our residential and commercial properties. The diversity of our business lends to unique learning opportunities and includes the ability to complete apprenticeship requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general labour and carpentry services for commercial projects.
* Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment.
* Measure, cut, assemble and join wood and lightweight steel.
* Maintain high quality standards for all work.
* Keep work sites clean and secure.
Desired Skills:
* Ability to read specifications and drawings.
* Knowledge of safe operation of carpentry tools.
* Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting procedures.
* Currently working in the trade is an asset.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years? experience in a construction environment.
* Reliable transportation to various job sites.
* Satisfactory Criminal Background Check is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
Additional pay:
* Overtime pay
Flexible language requirement:
* French not required
Schedule:
* 10 hour shift
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
* Weekends as needed
Experience:
* carpentry: 3 years (preferred)
