*Primary Scope of Role :* * Support and maintain the cost control system for each project and monitor the performance of the jobs versus budget (i.e. review and analyze Job Cost reports). * Liaise with the project team to gather job cost/billing information and consult with the project team regarding any job costing/accounting issues as required. * Carry out site visits to monitor job progress and interact with site personnel to ensure production and accounting processes/procedures are in place and functioning as per policy. * Assist with the month end close process for all GIP Interpaving projects. * Ensure accuracy and integrity of supporting schedules (i.e. Job Status Report, Cost Report and unbilled revenue/AR aging explanations, etc.). * Liaise with internal and external auditors and prepare necessary working papers for the interim and year end audit. * Assist with the preparation of job forecasts, as required. * Support the team in setting up the project cost codes and the project baseline budget in GIP?s estimating software. * Execute journal entries as required by each project. * Assist with ad hoc reports, as required. * Train Project Administrators and Project Coordinators in Job Costing related tasks. * Other related duties as assigned. *Position Requirements :* * Post-secondary education is preferred. * 2 years? experience related to Project Administration, Project Accounting or Cost Control preferred. * Intermediate level of computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel. * Experience with JDE is an asset. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. * Valid G driver?s license and access to reliable transportation. * Out of town/overnight travel required from time to time. * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner. * Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. * Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines. * Results-driven with a focus to deliver success in a fast-paced environment. * Outcome focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyse and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business. * Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities. * Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges. *Success Predictors* * Analytical mindset. * Versatile and resourceful problem solver. * Proactive and self-motivated. * Effective communicator, confident in engaging with all levels of the company. *About Us* *Our People* At Green Infrastructure Partners (GIP), our people are second to none.
