*Job Summary:* All-West Glass is a well-established, family-oriented company with over 50 years of dedicated service to northern communities. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Glass Cutter. This unique opportunity to be a part of a leading full-service glass business in Whitehorse. We are looking for a candidate that will deliver on superior quality in workmanship, punctuality, strong organizational, and time management abilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, committed to safety, works well with others, and can effectively problem solve difficult situations. Candidates should also be in good physical condition, as heavy lifting is required. *Key Responsibilities:* * Read, cut and package custom glass and plastic orders. * Cut and install flat glass and plastic products for industrial machinery. * Communicate effectively with customers to explain services, answer questions, and address any concerns. * Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and customers. * Work closely with colleagues to ensure efficient operations and outstanding service, including inventory tracking and filling out documentation. * Conduct inventory checks and provide sales and inspection reports to management. * Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and safety practices through ongoing training and education. * Assist colleagues with shipping and receiving and remote site installations of auto glass and other products. *Job Requirements:* * One (1) year of relevant experience preferred * Moderate knowledge of glass products * Must be legally authorized to work in Canada * CSA-approved work shoes * Valid drivers license and driver?s abstract * Ability to work eight (8) hour shifts on weekdays, with overtime as required *What We Offer:* * Competitive wage based on experience * Company pension * Full health plan benefits (medical, dental, vision) * Life insurance * Profit sharing * Apprenticeship for Automotive Glass Technician * Store discount * Wellness program * Telus phone plan discount * Paid training * Staff fund contributions * Staff events * Sick leave We look forward to receiving your application.
