Bryan's Pharmacy is looking to hire a Part-Time or Full-Time Pharmacist. Our store hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm and Saturday 9-5. We are closed Sundays and Holidays. *Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a hospital setting. The Pharmacist will be responsible for medication management, patient education, and providing expert advice on drug interactions and side effects. *Duties* * Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy. * Prepare and dispense medications accurately, including compounding when necessary. * Provide patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions. * Monitor patient outcomes and adjust medication regimens as needed in collaboration with healthcare providers. * Maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. * Participate in clinical rounds and collaborate with medical staff regarding patient care plans. * Educate healthcare staff on medical terminology, acute care protocols, and pediatric considerations related to medication administration. * Stay current with advancements in pharmacotherapy and participate in continuing education. *Skills* * Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology. * Experience in pediatrics and acute care settings is highly desirable. * Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams. * Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. * Proficient in medication administration processes and safety protocols. * Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism.
