Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Odours. Cold/refrigerated. Tasks: Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat. Wrap and package prepared meats. Grind meats. Slice cooked meats. Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products. Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood. Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use. Personal suitability: Organized. Reliability. Team player. Experience: Will train. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) . Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees . Does not require Canadian work experience. Support for youths: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Veterans: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Veterans. Support for Indigenous people: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers .
