Part-time in house at Detox Facility. The Nurse Practitioner is an integral member of the health care team who will provide and coordinate initial, continuing and comprehensive advanced nursing service to the community in the Detox Facility of this First Nation. NPs serve the ethno-culturally diverse populations across the continuum of health care throughout the life span. The spectrum of health services provided encompasses: health promotion and maintenance of wellness, illness and injury prevention, health condition, and health care management of common acute and chronic illnesses, including ordering diagnostic investigations and prescribing treatments including medications. The NP will collaborate and make referrals to other health care professionals and participate in community development initiatives. The- LocationOnion Lake, SK
