<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>In this role, you will be responsible for the performance of manual and machine tasks in the setup, maintenance, and operation of a Brausse, or Bobst 106 sheet-fed die cutter to accurately produce product to customer specifications.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities including but not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for setup of a sheet-fed die cutter according to necessary specifications; observe machine operations and monitor quality and make adjustments, if needed. Inspect finished product to ensure quality specifications are being adhered to and customer expectations are met.</li><li>Maintain general knowledge and understanding of die cutting processes and equipment; must know the proper rules such as cut, crease and perforation and their characteristics as far as thickness and hardness.</li><li>Execute make readies within standard time constraints and free of damage to tooling or equipment.</li><li>Validate the setup of matrices and/or counters as pertinent to the job in progress and how they mount to the press.</li><li>Demonstrate an understanding of how dies are made, know nicking patterns, how rubbering works, and different rubbers available to maximize efficiency in the operation of the machine.</li><li>Must follow all applicable procedures and make recommendations for system improvements as identified.</li><li>Troubleshoot common issues related to downtime or quality issues when die cutting.</li><li>Responsible for operating within policies & procedures and maintaining compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements; including compliance with Occupational Health and Safety procedures and Safe Start practices.</li><li>Other duties as assigned by management</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><strong>What you will need to succeed:</strong></p><ul><li>3 years of related experience and/or training specific to<strong> sheet fed die cutting</strong>. <strong>Manufacturing & folding carton experience</strong> is mandatory.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, <span class="long-word">operating/maintenance</span> instructions, and procedure manuals.</li><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</li><li>Ability to read a tape measure (to 1/16" measurement, do basic math, and some computer skills).</li><li>Ability to work safely, comply with all safety rules, lift, push or pull >50lbs, navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift.</li><li>An appetite for challenging goals and a drive to high achievements with a can-do attitude!</li></ul></div></div>
