Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer. Budgetary responsibility: $100,001 - $500,000. Tasks: Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits. Evaluate daily operations . Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget . Monitor revenues to determine labour cost . Monitor staff performance . Plan and organize daily operations. Recruit staff. Set staff work schedules. Supervise staff. Train staff. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms. Cost products and services. Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Participate in marketing plans and implementation. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Provide customer service. Manage events. Supervision: 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Food service manager certification. Food Safety Certificate. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Client focus.
