We are seeking a skilled and experienced *Dental Assistant Level 2* to join our dedicated dental team. The ideal candidate will provide a high level of clinical and administrative support, assisting the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a smooth and efficient clinic environment. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Clinical Assistance:* Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, such as fillings, cleanings, extractions, and crowns. * *Patient Care:* Prepare patients for treatment, take medical histories, and provide post-procedure instructions. * *Infection Control:* Ensure sterilization and infection control protocols are strictly followed for all instruments and equipment. * *Radiography:* Take X-rays as needed, following safety protocols. * *Dental Procedures:* Assist with dental impressions, placing temporary fillings, fluoride treatments, and sealants. * *Inventory Management:* Monitor dental supplies and ensure the office is well-stocked. * *Patient Education:* Educate patients on oral hygiene and aftercare instructions. *Qualifications:* * Completion of a recognized *Dental Assistant Level 2* qualification. * *HARP Radiology certification is a must* * Strong organizational and multitasking skills. * Excellent communication skills with patients and the dental team. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * *Knowledge of ABELDENT dental software* for scheduling and record management is a plus. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * Dental care * On-site parking * Paid time off Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * No weekends Work Location: In person- LocationWaterloo, ON
