*Kinesiologist Job Description* *Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Kinesiologist to join our healthcare team for a temporary position, starting at the beginning of the year, and ending March 30th. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assessing and improving patients' physical abilities through movement and exercise. This position requires a strong understanding of human anatomy, rehabilitation techniques, and patient care practices. The Kinesiologist will work closely with patients, physiotherapists, and support staff to develop personalized treatment plans that enhance mobility and overall health. *Responsibilities* * Conduct assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations. * Develop individualized exercise programs tailored to each patient's needs. * Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. * Educate patients on the importance of physical activity and proper body mechanics. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress. * Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in kinesiology and rehabilitation practices. *Experience* * A degree in Kinesiology or a related field is required. * Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred. * Proficiency in medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team. * Strong organizational skills are necessary for managing patient records and schedules efficiently. * Familiarity with computer operation for documentation and reporting purposes is required.
