Located 20 minutes south of Saskatoon, the newly built 155?room Dakota Dunes hotel will be a tribute in design to the historic Whitecap First Nation. We invite you to apply to come work at this beautiful 4 Star property. *PRIMARY PURPOSE*: The bartender provides guests with a quality lounge experience by greeting guests in a friendly manner, telling them about daily specials, and creating a memorable guest experience. The bartender serves guests with all food and beverage requirements in a pleasant, courteous, and professional manner. *RESPONSIBILITIES* * Provides personalized service to all guests * Takes drink orders from customers * Responsible for knowing prices of menu items * Performs wait and service standards in a timely manner * Serves drinks such as wine and beer * Mixed drinks and cocktails according to recipes * Checks identification of customers to ensure that they are of legal drinking age * Cleans bar, tables, and work areas * Operate POS system, cash handling, and debit/credit transactions * Manages bar operation, order, maintain liquor and bar supplies * Provide food service * Follow food safety standards *REQUIREMENTS* * Reliable Transportation to Whitecap required * High school diploma or equivalent is preferred * Smart Serve required to start * A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a bartender * Flexible schedule * Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming * Must be able to multi- task and prioritize tasks when needed in a fast-paced environment * Possess basic math, reading, and writing skills * Ability to lift up to 50lbs Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual Pay: From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Tips Benefits: * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift Work Location: In person- LocationWhitecap, SK
