Education: College/CEGEP. Work site environment: Industrial/commercial (general). Tasks: Estimate costs of installing equipment. Oversee the preparation of sales and orders. Promote sales to existing clients. Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements. Identify and solicit potential clients. Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services. Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support. Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions. Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers . Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations . Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers . Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers .
