*Position Overview*
The Materials Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting daily operations and meeting reporting requirements. Reporting directly to the Equipment Manager, this role involves coordinating, managing, and procuring parts. Ensuring all consumables are accurately recorded and associated with the appropriate work orders using the Enterprise asset management system. (Dynaway, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central)
*Key Responsibilities*
*Procurement and Inventory Management*
· Source and procure parts and consumables required for heavy equipment maintenance.
· Coordinate with Site Supervisors, Production Manager, and other staff, to ensure parts and inventory are available and ready to execute maintenance.
· Timely order of parts, work with warehouse attendant to keep an adequate and accurate inventory on-hand and ensure crushing/field crews have the necessary resources.
· Keep teams informed of status of parts, repairs, inventory, and orders.
· Supervision of warehouse attendant and supporting their daily workload.
*Work Order Coordination*
· Ensure all parts and consumables are properly logged and associated with relevant work orders in the EAM system.
· Collaborate with the Heavy-Duty Maintenance team to ensure accurate tracking of parts, labor, and maintenance history.
*Operational Support*
· Plan and coordinate material needs for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
· Assist in developing and implementing maintenance schedules to optimize operations.
*Reporting*
· Generate and analyze reports related to parts usage, inventory levels, and maintenance activities.
· Provide data-driven insights to support operational decision-making.
*Collaboration*
· Work closely with the Equipment Manager and Maintenance Team to align material coordination with operational goals.
· Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols.
*Vendor relations & Invoicing *
· Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service companies.
· Will be professional while engaging vendors and carriers.
· May be asked to expedite orders and shipments by phone or email in a courteous and professional manner.
*Qualifications*
· Proven experience in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field.
· Strong understanding of CMMS/EAM software for tracking and managing maintenance operations (e.g. Dynaway, Maximo, upkeep, Limble, etc).
· Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
· Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
· Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in heavy equipment maintenance.
· Experience in a mining, construction, or industrial environment.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and data management.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Valid driver?s license.
*Working Conditions*
· The position may involve working in industrial or field environments, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols.
· Occasional lifting, standing, or moving of equipment and materials may be required.
· Ability to lift 50 pounds
· Monday to Friday schedule 40 hours
· Supporting departments with clerical duties as required.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
