Job details
Education: College/CEGEP. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Install equipment. Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation. Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements. Assist in design, development and testing. Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports. Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components. Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments. Conduct safety training programs. Collect and compile operational or experimental data. Carry out applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics. Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems. Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Values and ethics. Dependability.
