Education: College/CEGEP. Business administration and management, general. Selling skills and sales operations. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Fitness centre. Recreational facility/institution. Tasks: Develop specific plans to prioritize. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Train workers in duties and policies. Prepare and submit reports. Ensure smooth operation of equipment. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Offer mentoring. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support. Supervise office and volunteer staff. Supervise professional staff, program leaders and instructors and volunteer staff. Schedule staff. Order supplies and maintain inventory. Perform administrative tasks. Provide expert advice and consulting services in the design, development and administration of sports, fitness and recreation programs and activities. Co-ordinate special events. Supervision: 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Outlook. MS PowerPoint. MS Word. Database software.
