We provide quality care to 66 residents.Wolfville is just one hour from Halifax and is the cultural center of the Annapolis Valley. Fabulous farm markets, music and theatre, the Acadian Mecca of Grand Pre National Historic Site and the world's highest tides in the Minas Basin filling up our "world's smallest" harbor.Reporting to the RN Supervisor the Continuing Care Assistant is accountable for providing personal care, support and non-certified services necessary in caring for personal needs and comfort of residents. The CCA ensures and maintains the quality of care given to residents on his/her assigned 1st or 2nd floor units. The CCA responds to each resident's care needs in accordance with the individual resident's care plan and in a coordinated, cooperative manner with members of the staff team. The CCA enhances the focus on safety and positivity contributes to the culture of safety.
